Steve Jobs: God Hates Fags To Protest At Funeral, Announces Via iPhone
God Hates Fags announced last night via their iPhone they will protest at the funeral of Steve Jobs, the 56-year old Apple Chairman who died Wednesday. Saying she was “thankful” for Jobs’ death, and that “HeIsInHell,” Shirley Phelps-Roper joined Margie Phelps and Megan Phelps-Roper on Twitter to attack Jobs and his memory.
Here is the text of several of their tweets:
Steve Jobs had NOTHING except what God gave him. He used it to pursue lusts-Whatever his heart desired. God said #ThouFool #SummonedToAnswer
Steve Jobs is responsible for Apple being rated “top gay-friendly companies.” God will require that at his hand! You must read the words!
Steve Jobs did NOT create anything-God used Steve Jobs to create amazing STUFF for WBC to preach like a mug! Jobs vainly imagined HE did it!
God Hates Fags, aka the Westboro Baptist Church, recently was in the news for picketing at Ground Zero on 9/11, and earlier for claiming they would travel to Norway to picket at the funerals of the victims of the Oslo Shooter.
Gawker notes,
God Hates Steve Jobs about as much as God Hates Fags, but God loves Apple products—therefore, it’s totally not hypocritical at all that Westboro Baptist Church member @MargieJPhelps used an iPhone to declare her congregation’s next publicity stuntdemonstration of God’s will. Even God has an iPhone.
God Hates Fags has a spotty record at best of following through on their claims. While they did protest at Geraldine Ferraro’s funeral, they were a no-show at Elizabeth Taylor’s.
Perhaps they haven’t yet found the “Calendar” app on their iPhone?
Earlier this year the God Hates Fags network websites were down for months after Anonymous followed through on their promise to take them down if WBC did not “Cease & desist your protest campaign,†and “close your public Web sites.â€
