Mitt Romney just recorded an ad for GOP Congressman Jeff Flake, who is now running for the U.S. Senate from the state of Arizona. Flake is an anti-choice, anti-LGBT, anti-women Republican, and is now accused of sending robocalls to Democrats in Arizona, directing them to polling places in the wrong district, “in some cases as much as 11 miles away.”

According to a report by Phoenix, Arizona’s NBC affiliate, Rep. Jeff Flake’s (R-AZ) U.S. Senate campaign called Democratic voters telling them to vote in the wrong precinct — in some cases as much as 11 miles away from their actual polling place. After telling the Democratic voters to vote in the wrong place, the calls also encourage the voter to “vote Flake for U.S. Senate.â€
“After cutting general-election ads for Richard Mourdock and Denny Rehberg, and a primary-season ad for Orrin Hatch, Mitt Romney appears in a commerical for Arizona Rep. Jeff Flake,” Politico notes.
Flake, who voted against TARP, of course has a 100% approval rating from the American Conservative Union and a 100% rating from the National Right to Life Committee.
Flake, while being one of the few House Republicans voting to repeal Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, is in favor of a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage. Yes, Congressman Jeff Flake wants us to fight to save him but doesn’t want us to be able to marry.
In 2000, Flake promised he would serve only three terms in Congress. Just after his third election in 2005, he rescinded that promise.
