Texas Republican Governor Rick Perry tells the 700 Club that on Saturday at his anti-gay, Christian-only, violation of church and state prayer rally, “The Response,” “I’m going to be praying for our country’s economic prosperity.” Perry claims that “there are so many people who can’t take care of their families because government’s overtaxed, over-regulated, over-litigated.”
