Pulling Out

The sheer volume of news over the past twenty-four hours has caused me to step back a bit and reflect. And here’s what I’m seeing:

Americans are so angry with each other that we’re engaging in protectionism within our own borders. For a few months this year, it had subsided, but now it’s back, just as big and just as bad as it was one year ago: the drums of social civil war are beating, louder and louder.

Michael A. Jones writes, “Michigan Churches Stop Serving Homeless Because of Homosexuality.” The Church actually pulled out of a coalition of eight churches because some of them have progressive views on homosexuality. That was their only reason.
