Poll: 52% Of Americans Think Supreme Court Will Confine Marriage To Heterosexuals

Angus Reid, the Canadian pollster who gave us, “47% Of Americans Think Being Gay Is A Choice,” has just released the results of a poll that finds 52% of Americans believe the Supreme Court will segregate marriage to one man-one woman only, if and when it ultimately rules on same-sex marriage. 28% believe the court will rule in favor of marriage equality. The poll also found one third of Americans want the Court to define marriage between a man and a woman.
The poll, which vastly differs from other polls on similar topics, found that only 26% of Americans should be allowed legal recognition in the form of civil unions, and 31% should be afforded no legal recognition whatsoever.
