Rick Perry, whose embarrassingly dismal results in last night’s Iowa Caucuses — along with his statement he was heading home to Texas to “re-assess” — led America to believe he was paving the way to suspend his campaign, as Michele Bachmann did just minutes ago. No chance, says Perry, who just minutes ago via his Twitter account wrote, “And the next leg of the marathon is the Palmetto State…Here we come South Carolina!!!” The South Carolina primary is the next one on Perry’s list. He did not expect to place well in New Hampshire.
