Patrick Swayze, Thanks For Everything…

Patrick Swayze, who celebrated his fifty-seventh birthday less than one month ago, died today from pancreatic cancer, which he had been battling since its diagnosis in January, 2008.

The actor, nominated for three Golden Globe Awards, made a total of forty-seven movies. He was best known for his roles in 1987’s “Dirty Dancing,” 1990’s “Ghost,” and my personal favorite, 1995’s “To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar.”

We will miss you.
