Pat Robertson, uber-homophobe and host of the 700 Club, says on a recent episode, in response to a viewer’s letter that it’s OK to be friends with a homosexual as long as you can convert them — and not get converted by them. So, straight women can hang with gay men, and straight guys can hang with lesbians. I guess?
The “convert” I think Robertson mean to Christianity, which, then, of course, means to heterosexuality.
