Sarah Palin, whose contract at Fox News was not renewed, told Breitbart that she left Fox to “free up opportunities” and “share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom.” What those opportunities are, and how she can reach a larger audience went unmentioned. Since Fox News has the largest market share of any cable TV news network, it’s unclear what her plans could be.

When asked, “What’s next for you?,” Palin told Breitbart’s Stephen K. Bannon:
I encourage others to step out in faith, jump out of the comfort zone, and broaden our reach as believers in American exceptionalism. That means broadening our audience. I’m taking my own advice here as I free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom and the imperative of defending our republic and restoring this most exceptional nation. We can’t just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience.
Palin, like all Tea Party Republicans, is claiming their values and policies didn’t lose in November, Mitt Romney did. (To quote Rachel Maddow’s sarcasm this week, now the GOP “can go back to all the winning.â€)
“Conservatism didn’t lose,” Palin says. “A moderate Republican candidate lost after he was perceived to alienate working class Reagan Democrat and Independent voters who didn’t turn out for him as much as they did for the McCain/Palin ticket in 2008. Granted, those same voters also didn’t turn out for Obama as strongly either. We had an election defined by a biased media plus millions of voters who sat it out in disgust. As long as we allow the media and GOP establishment to tell us who our nominees must be, we can expect to lose. I’m not interested in losing. America’s next generation can’t afford another loss.”
Yes, millions more voters chose to not vote. In every second term election, less voters show up. And the GOP’s voter intimidation had nothing to do with less voters showing up to the polls. The lines across the country had nothing to do with lowered turnout.
Barack Obama finished with an historic win, the first president since FDR to twice win 51 percent or  more of the popular vote, but why do facts matter?
Palin, the former Republican Vice Presidential candidate, former Governor of Alaska, former chair of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, former Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, former “Miss Congeniality,†former sportscaster, former head of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and former reality TV star, is now also a former Fox News contributor.
