Cindy Jacobs is suggesting the international Occupy Wall Street movement is the work of Satan. In a recent “prayer alert” video message, Dr. Jacobs claims God spoke with her. Jacobs, discussing the Occupy Wall Street movement, says, “It’s not just something that’s happening, says the Lord, in America, but other nations as well.”
(For the record, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, and even Fox News, say the Occupy Wall Street movement is happening “in other nations as well,” too.)
Cindy Jacobs and her husband Mike run Generals International, which claims to be an international movement “achieving societal transformation through intercession and the prophetic.”
(For all those Golden Compass fans out there, intercession is not to be confused Intercision.)
Right Wing Watch reported that on Wednesday that “the Family Research Council was praying that the Occupy Wall Street protests would ‘backfire’ and that participants would be led ‘to faith and peace in Christ!’
“Cindy Jacobs has now issued her own prayer alert through her Reformation Prayer Network in which she warns that their [sic] is a ‘principality, a power of darkness’  at work behind the OWS protests seeks to unleash a ‘spirit of anarchy’ in the nation and ‘foment revolutions’ that will spark a full-blown class war.”
And earlier this past week, Jacobs proclaimed, “We’re on the verge of overturning Roe v. Wade,” while earlier this month, Cindy and Mike Jacobs hosted a television show during which anti-​gay activist and author Michael Brown claimed the gay agenda’s ultimate goal is to put Christians in jail.
Speaking as an invited guest, author Brown said, “it’s not just they came out of the closet and want to put us in the closet; they were put in jail, they want to put us in jail.â€
