Obama Approval Soars, Disapproval Drops. Now 3 Times More Popular Than Congress

President Obama’s approval rating is soaring, now at 53 percent, and his disapproval rating is dropping, now at 39 percent, according to Gallup’s Daily Tracking report yesterday. That’s a 13 point spread, one of the highest. By contrast, Congress’s approval rating has dropped after a slight increase. It’s now at 18 percent.

Meanwhile, GOP is back to their old tricks of going after women’s rights, including abortion, and blocking the Violence against Women Act.
