Tea Party supported NY gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino, unable to support his accusations of infidelity against Democratic opponent Andrew Cuomo, tries to change course, by pointing the finger at Cuomo for not having agreed to a debate.
Cuomo already has agreed to a debate.
Local Bufffalo TV station WIVB reports, “Paladino addresses New Yorkers about the controversies that have surrounded his campaign, including his infidelity that resulted in a child being born out of wedlock. He notes that his family has come under attack over this, yet no one has bothered to ask these same type of questions to his Democratic challenger Andrew Cuomo, saying Cuomo’s “prowess is legendary.”
“However, Paladino goes on to say that he will not make his campaign about accusations like that, and goes on to question why Cuomo will not step up to the plate and debate. He accuses Cuomo of being afraid of a debate.”
By the way, the New York Times today published an excellent piece, detailing how, essentially, Paladino’s campaign is merely an effort to make money. Almost all his campaign expenditures are for items his businesses sell. Mailers, advertising, hotel rooms…
