The spokesperson for the National Organization For Marriage‘s Marriage Anti-Defamation Alliance says President Obama is a “terrorist.” Damian Goddard, a Canadian whose claim to victim status — he says he was fired from his sports anchor job for a tweet he sent supporting “traditional marriage — has been roundly debunked, wrote what amounts to an open letter to Americans who say they want to move to Canada because President Obama was re-elected:
Now, stop your complaining. Â Please. Â For the love of God.
You live in the freest country ever known to mankind. Â As the anthem states, America is the land of the free but freedom comes with bravery, not running and hiding. Â Your job is to stay. Â And fight. Â For the battle is still ongoing.
You leave, the terrorists win.  And heck, isn’t that what the Terrorist-in-Chief wants, anyway?

NOM’s Marriage ADA, headed by Maggie Gallagher, aims to support people who feel “suppressed and intimidated,” and “threatened, harassed, or made to feel afraid because [they] believe in the great, foundational truth of Genesis –we are born male and female and called to come together in love to give children mothers and fathers…”

As it turns out, “The National Organization for Marriage Education Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization, gifts to which are deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purpose.” Which means, even though Goddard published this attack on his own website, it brings yet another opportunity for the IRS to examine NOM’s status, and it absolutely adds another stroke count to the Southern Poverty Law Center’s count of how NOM is operating as a hate group.
Elections have consequences. So does calling the President of the United States a “terrorist.”
