Now that the gay marriage bill has passed the Assembly, and the governor has promised to sign the bill, all we need to do is get the New York state senate to pass the bill. That will not be easy. There is a great deal of resistance in the senate, from Republicans as well as some prominent Democrats, like ordained minister Ruben Diaz of the Bronx. So, what do we do? Rally!
