In a just-released CBS News/New York Times poll, 61% of all Americans — including 61% of Catholics — think religious employers should be required to cover contraception services, which President Obama and Secretary Kathleen Sebelius reinforced as government policy recently, sparking a war with the Catholic Church and the GOP over perceived First Amendment issues.
Additionally, 66% of women andy 55% of men believe religious employers should be required to cover contraception services.
Why is the GOP chasing this non-issue?
