Nancy Sinatra, the iconic “These Boots Were Made For Walkin’” songstress, over the weekend announced her support for Tammy Baldwin, a U.S. Congresswoman who is now running to become the first openly-gay U.S. Senator. Sinatra, daughter of Frank Sinatra, via Twitter very generously posted a link to The New Civil Rights Movement’s article on Congresswoman Baldwin, and followed that up with four tweets on Baldwin’s political positions.
Rep. Baldwin (D-WI) is running against former Republican governor Tommy Thompson, who served as U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services under George W. Bush.
