Mr. Guns & Ammo Marries Mr. Human Rights Campaign

Connecticut’s recent legalization of gay marriage proves that love can bring us all together. Sunday’s Vows section of The New York Times celebrates the marriage of Peter Norden Watt and Gerard Francis Cattie, Jr. “at the couple’s weekend house in Lyme, Conn.”

“Mr. Watt (left), 44, is the vice president for consumer marketing at InterMedia Outdoors, a company in New York that publishes hunting, fishing and shooting magazines like Guns & Ammo, and has Web sites and cable television shows devoted to those subjects.

“Mr. Cattie, 43, works in New York as a partner in and managing director of Diversified Search Ray & Berndtson, an executive search firm. Until 2002 he was a member of the board of governors of the Human Rights Campaign in Washington.”

See a video interview of the couple, featuring their beloved beagle, Dave.

We wish them all the best. Congratulations.
