More On The Sexual Assault And Rape Lawsuit Facing The Pentagon
Yesterday we brought you a video from “The Today Show” announcing a lawsuit against the pentagon and military leaders, and we brought you an excellent report, “Pentagon Faces Class Action Suit Exposing Military Sexual Abuse Crisis,” by The New Civil Rights Movement writer Tanya Domi, a fifteen-year Army veteran, which details the lawsuit filed against Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, for failure to make measurable progress and marked improvement to the Pentagon’s abysmal record that appears to tolerate sexual abuse and rape.Â
Today, we bring you another video, shot at the National Press Club where the lawsuit was announced yesterday, and the actual legal complaint.
It’s important that we support our military and all its members. Those who chose to deny that sexual abuse and harassment, and rape exists, or is allowed to exist, or that a hostile environment can exist in our military are not supporting our military, its objectives, and are certainly not supporting our troops.
