Mocking Coming Out: ‘If You Love Me Love My Adultery’ New Anti-Gay Video Proclaims

For many people, acknowledging and embracing the fact that they are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender — coming out to themselves — and then coming out to their friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers can be an extremely challenging series of events — even leading some to stay in the closet rather than offer sustenance to their homophobic taunters. Even leading some to thoughts of suicide, attempts of suicide, or successfully completing suicide.

So it’s truly shocking that anyone could create a video that mocks the coming out process, comparing coming out as gay to coming out as an adulterer, an alcoholic, and a tax cheater.

And yet, Janet Porter and her Faith 2 Action organization have done just that.

The video also includes at the end “raw documentary footage” of anti-gay hate group leader Peter LaBarbera, of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality, as if what preceded it wasn’t sufficiently offensive.

Earlier this month, Porter said that gay marriage is “about driving the homosexual flag into yet another segment of society and then using it as a club to silence all dissent — to label anyone who disagrees as a hater.” She’s more than proven her hate with this new video.

Porter , a card-carrying member of the radical religious right, also has a new film in production, “The Criminalization Of Christianity,” which uses clips of convicted pedophile Jerry Sandusky to equate gay people and same-sex marriage with pedophilia.

The anti-gay radicals on the right are so fearful right now — just look at the four huge marriage wins we had yesterday — they have nothing else to do but become creative with their anti-gay animus.

But the real joke is on them.

Professional gay-haters, the anti-gay careerists, know their Ponzi scheme scam is just about over. They now that America is not going to fund their hate much longer, and they’re scared they won’t be able to continue making a living off their hate.

And then what will they do? With few marketable skills, these people will find themselves unemployable and and poverty-striken in their old age — which is coming up fast.

The joke is on Janet Porter, Peter LaBarbera, and all their friends who have up until now made a fine living off of hate.
