Civil rights activist icon David Mixner has written two columns this month looking back at 2009. “My Picks: Top Ten LGBT News Stories Of 2009,” goes from “Hate Crimes Passage/ HIV Ban Lifted,” to “Transgender Community/ Chaz Bono.” Then, in “Mixner’s Best of 2009,” he opens the field and examines everything from “the amazing blogging done this year by Andy Towle, Joe Jervis and Pam Spaulding” to “Most attractive butt of 2009.” I’ll let you check out whose it is.
