Mixner: “Make citizen arrests” of “consistent and outrageous” law-breaking by “the Religious Right.”
In, “Breaking News: Rampant Breaking Of Laws By Heterosexuals!“Â David Mixner makes a (semi?-) tongue-in-cheek stab at the Religious Right, saying,
“Being distracted by the morality police determined to oppress the LGBT community and tell us how to live our lives, I completely overlooked what was happening right in front of my face. How could I have been so blind? Then it hit me full force: The efforts to deny the LGBT community its rights was nothing more than a ruse to divert attention from the consistent and outrageous breaking of the civil law and God’s law by many in the Religious Right.”
I’m not so sure he’s kidding.
I’m not so sure I don’t agree.
