Michelle Malkin Is An Equal Opportunity Bigot

“There is nothing more dangerous than the conscience of a bigot.” - George Bernard Shaw (1856–1950)

Many times I have written here about the hatred and bigotry that pours from the pen of extreme right-wing blogger Michelle Malkin. The first time I did, I wrote about her comments on the eHarmony court decision, forcing them to (finally!) include same-sex daters. Malkin cried,

“Homosexuals will no longer be denied the inalienable “right” to hook up with same-sex partners on eHarmony.”

So, in “Michelle Malkin Just Can’t Understand Why We’re Upset”, I wrote,

“I guess if you’re straight, in Michelle Malkin’s eyes, it’s a dating site to find love and a relationship. If you’re gay, you must only be looking for sex. I think the proper term for someone like that is “bigot“. (Webster’s agrees.)”

Yesterday, after the disgraceful, offensive and, yes, Michelle, racist cartoon that appeared in The New York Post, depicting Obama as the chimpanzee shot after attacking a woman in Connecticut this week, Malkin wrote, “Going ape over the New York Post“:

“Oops. Can I say “went ape” anymore? How about “going bananas?” Shall I refrain from asking the race demagogues to quit “monkeying around?” Do I erase “It’s a jungle out there” and “It’s a zoo” from my lexicon? How about “beastly?”
Just a few yelps from Sharpton and the professional protesters who see RAAAAACISM in every inkblot prompted the spunky tab (for whom I write and proudly so) to apologize to “those who were offended by the image.””

“Those who were offended by the image” include a huge slice of this country, and, the Post‘s Associate Editor, Sandra Guzman. Sam Stein in The Huffington Post writes,

“On Wednesday, an employee of the paper told the Huffington Post that the phone lines had been inundated with complaints over what was interpreted as a racially charged jab at Obama. “As they f–king should be,” said the source.

Today, meanwhile, the Post‘s Associate Editor, Sandra Guzman, sent out an email to other reporters distancing herself from the paper’s cartoon and acknowledging that she has talked to management about her disapproval.”

And just six hours earlier, Malkin wrote:

“We need the racial grievance-mongers to shut up. Shut. Up.”

Now, why am I writing here about Malkin’s misdeeds on race? Because a bigot is a bigot is a bigot. And bigotry about race comes from the same small, myopic minds as does bigotry about sexual orientation. Chances are, race-haters are gay-haters too. And we need to help them understand that their views, while they may be personally entitled to them, have no place in society if they breed hate. And that is what Michelle Malkin does: Michelle Malkin breeds hate. Hate against blacks. Hate against gays. Not sure? Read the comments in her blog posts. You’ll soon realize the hate orgy that is breeding there.

Personally, I’d like to know what it is that Michelle Malkin stands for?

Today, I’m adding a new aspect to the blog, and I’m calling it, “Bigotry Watch”. A little unoriginal, but accurate. And I need your help. Let me know (by commenting in any post on the blog) about any aspects of bigotry in the news you see or hear, especially bigotry against gays. We’re all in this together, and it’s time we made the world a little bit better.
