Marcus Bachmann has been under fire for his comments that gays are barbarians. Friday in the Star-Tribune, Bachmann denied he said gays are barbarians, and claimed he was talking about children. Kind of like saying, “Oh, no, officer, I didn’t steal the Lexus, I stole the Mercedes…” Gays are barbarians? Children are barbarians? I recon there are a lot more people who vote who have kids who would take offense to having them called barbarians than there are gays.

Regardless, calling gays barbarians, or kids barbarians is offensive, and certainly is a reason — one of many, I might add — to call the Bachmanns unfit for the White House.
