Rachel Maddow last night slammed the right wing media in a ten-minute long examination, and called their work “baldly false,” “babble,” and an “infection.” Maddow promoted the fact that not every issue has two valid sides — a false dichotomy exemplified by Fox News’ false “fair and balanced,” and “we report, you decide,” claims.
Starting with the fact that the Romney campaign just gave press credentials to World Net Daily‘s Jerome Corsi, the birther king who now has moved to claiming Barack Obama is gay and was secretly “gay married” to his male college roommate from Pakistan, Maddow explores all sorts of right wing lies that they use to fill their need for conspiracy theories.

“This infection is leading the conservative media, these baldly false conservative feel-good assertions that come from the right end up becoming just the other side of a political issue,” Maddow said, emphatically. Mimicking the right wing media, Maddow said, “We’re taking an objective look,” and she called that claim “bull.”
“Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. The unemployment rate is under 8%. The day after the Benghazi attack, the President called it an ‘act of terror.’ Do not confuse your World Net Daily caliber fantasy babble for what actually happened. Because stuff really does actually happen. And eventually you really do have to deal with it.”
