LOOK: Minnesota Governor Signs Same-Sex Marriage Bill Into Law!
Today at 5:00 PM local time, Minnesota Democratic Governor Mark Dayton signed same-sex marriage into law. Couples can begin marrying August 1. The bill was passed by the state senate yesterday, just six months after voters rejected a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage.
Minnesota become the twelfth state in the nation to extend marriage to same-sex couples, and the first in the midwest to do so legislatively.
