Local NYC News Covers Vigil For Jorge Steven Lopez Mercado
A vigil was held tonight on New York City’s Pier 45, to honor Jorge Steven Lopez Mercado, the Puerto Rican teen who was decapitated, dismembered, and burned. I was fortunate to have been able to attend. I’m grateful a few local NYC TV stations covered the event, which drew a crowd of 400 to 500 people.
