Even if yesterday’s crazy events hadn’t happened, the bill’s passage was questionable. But let’s also look at the facts of timing:
The New York State Senate’s last day in session is Monday, June 22. The New York City Gay Pride Parade is Sunday, June 28, with a large, I mean LARGE rally already planned for Saturday, June 27. What are the chances it will be a peaceful lamentation? About zero.
We need to organize a PEACEFUL yet strong protest for one day or the other or both. And here’s little time. What do you think?
