JFK Asks, “Are ALL Americans To Be Afforded Equal Rights?”

JFK, President John F. Kennedy, the first American President born in the 20th century, the youngest elected to the office, and our only Catholic President, was shot and killed forty-seven years ago today.

In this video clip, an excerpt from Kennedy’s June 11, 1963 radio and television address to the American people on civil rights, President Kennedy asks, “The question is, whether all Americans are to be afforded equal rights, and equal opportunities?”
