Today’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” rally had a surprise speaker — Howard Dean, who has been Vermont’s governor, a Democratic presidential candidate, and the chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
Also speaking at the rally were Lt. Dan Choi, who gave a moving speech Thursday at the Harvard School of Government, USAF Lt. Robin Chaurasiya, veterans Tanya Domi, Jared Chlapowski, Evelyn Thomas, Brett Edward Stout, Aubrey Sarvis (Servicemembers Legal Defense Network,) Alex Nicholson (Servicemembers United,) and Justin Elzie, the first Marine to come out under “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
