Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has made headlines recently by upstaging her boss on gay rights — doing a lot for LGBT equality within the State Department and outside of the U.S., being first in the administration to record an “It Gets Better” video, and even wearing purple in the situation room on the first annual Spirit Day, so color us “surprised” when she came out, again, against same-sex marriage.
Clinton apparently propped up Australia’s Labor Party Prime Minister Julia Gillard in a Q&A with the PM in Melbourne.
