Hey, Massachusetts: Do You Hate You, Or Us, Or U.S.?
I’m sitting here, licking my wounds after yesterday’s Republican upset, and asking myself, how is it possible for the first state in the nation to pioneer healthcare reform, to put a man into the U.S. Senate who has vowed to kill healthcare reform? I’m asking myself, how is it possible for the first state in the nation to offer marriage equality, to put a man into the U.S. Senate who has vowed to vote against repeal of DOMA? I’m asking myself, how is it possible for one of the most progressive states in the nation to put a Tea Party Conservative in the U.S. Senate?
