The rhetoric certainly has been heated in recent days, as the Republican Party works (yes, they actually are working these days — however devious their methods) to try to defund Obamacare by shutting the government down.
But a comment today, made by a GOP Congressman was beyond forgivable.
“I said, like 9/11, ‘lets roll!’,” 57-year old Tea Party Republican U.S. Congressman John Culberson said, comparing the GOP to the heroic passengers on United Airlines Flight 93, who, over a Pennsylvania field, managed to wrest control of the plane and bring it down.
Which, of course means that Obamacare is the airplane, and Obamacare supporters, about half the country — more if you’re asking if it should be defunded — are the 9/11 hijackers.
