Glenn Beck: Ted Kennedy Was “Evil”

Pot. Kettle. Black.

How in the world can anyone categorize Ted Kennedy as evil? In case you didn’t know this was Ted Kennedy (compiled via Wikipedia):

  • Known as “The Lion of the Senate,” he served for forty-six years in the United States Senate, the fourth-longest term in history.
  • He was responsible for creating more than three hundred laws, on wide-ranging issues from immigration, cancer research, health insurance, apartheid, disability discrimination, AIDS care, civil rights, mental health benefits, children’s health insurance, education and volunteering.
  • The brother of assassinated President John F. Kennedy and Senator Robert F. Kennedy, he was also the father of U.S. Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy.
  • He received an honorary knighthood bestowed by Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, the Order of the Aztec Eagle from Mexico, the US Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Order of the Merit of Chile, and honorary degrees from a number of institutions including Harvard University.

So, it should offend every American, indeed, every citizen of the world, to hear talk show host Glenn Beck say the the late Senator Edward Kennedy was “evil.”

Indeed, here it is the pot calling the kettle black.

One has to ask of Glenn Beck – who can be held responsible for creating the lunacy that inspired the above photo – what good have you done for America?
