Ghana Pastor: Homosexuality Will Make The Human Race Extinct

The Alliance Defense Fund (ADF), the people who brought you Prop 8 (not fought it, brought it,) today posted this on their “Alliance Defense Fund Alliance Alert,”

Ghana Pastor: Dangers of Homosexuality

Rev. Stephen Wengam at GBC News: We must not condemn homosexuals but condemn the act and sin of homosexuality. We must be kind to them and help them to overcome this degrading tendency. We must assure them they can overcome it. There is no human moral failure that cannot be overcome. There are many in our societies, who were once rapists, armed robbers and homosexuals who upon acknowledging those tendencies as sin and evil sought help and they are now free from its addiction. We use this opportunity to call on civil society, organs of governments, NGOs, political and religious bodies to rise up against any call or attempt to legitimise homosexuality.

Pretty nasty, hate-filled stuff, right?

Well, you should know that on Tuesday, a government minister in Ghana “ordered the arrest of all gay people in his region,” per Warren Throckmorton.

Good to know the ADF supports the arrest of homosexuals.

The piece ADF links to gets even worse than the paragraph they quoted.

Like, this:

COMMENTARY ON THE DANGERS OF HOMOSEXUALITY TO OUR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The debate on whether to legitimise homosexuality or not has arisen again with religious bodies, some members of Parliament, Chiefs and in recent times, President Mills taking a stand against it. On the contrary some human rights advocate have also risen to the defence of what is largely and widely viewed as immoral and alien to our cultural setting. A Homosexual or gay is a person usually a man who is sexually attracted to people of the same sex. Human psychology and biology in recent times have revealed that some persons are born with homosexual tendencies so they have the right to be so. This has been one of the most ridiculous and outrageous revelations in the 21st century. If this kind of flawed thinking is tolerated, very soon other social misfits like armed robbers, rapists and criminals will have findings defending them saying they were born with such tendencies. This situation can be likened to the Bible as a two edged sword. You can find any example in the Bible to defend any good or bad conduct you will want to indulge in. People who want to commit evil deeds will sometimes refer to some godly people in the Bible who fell short of such moral conducts. Truth as they say is one. There can be no middle grounds. What is evil is evil and cannot change with time. Such is homosexuality.

A nation’s spiritual and socio-economic life is intertwined. The spiritual life of a nation drives the physical. Therefore, if a nation commits such sin and God is displeased it will go against our national development. Homosexuality also has health implication for those who practice it. It is a fact that those who practice homosexuality destroy certain organs in their anus and will have to wear pampers because they pass out human excreta without any warning or restraint. Homosexuality also facilitates the spread of H.I.V. and Aids which is a bane of Africa’s development. Monies spent treating such avoidable conditions could have been used in more productive sectors of the economy.

If homosexuality is tolerated, very soon the human race will be extinct. This must not be entertained or else posterity will curse and judge our generation. It is on record that some powerful groups in the U.S and Europe who are linked to some satanic occults are sponsoring a major campaign to get this evil deed legitimised around the world. This is why President Evans Atta Mills needs to be commended for coming out to state Ghana’s position on homosexuals saying, the state will not entertain it since our laws abhor it.

Homosexuality must be a major campaign issue in 2012. Every political party must be made to state their position on it. Ghanaians must reject any party that roots for its legitimisation. Again some defend this evil culture by referring to the Americans who accept homosexuals into their army. Ghana must not follow America blindly. Ever since America opened its society to secularism, the crime rate in that country has soared to very alarming heights and this, is a source of worry to its well meaning citizens. The moral fibre of our society will be destroyed if such injustice as homosexuality is legitimized. The moral fibre of a nation is its foundation. So the question is: Of what benefit is economic development to a country if it is morally bankrupt? It is as worse as a poor nation.

We must not condemn homosexuals but condemn the act and sin of homosexuality.

May God purge our society of this canker so Ghana can develop in peace and moral uprightness.

Any questions? Things in Ghana are getting worse.
