Gays Respond To “Do Republicans Really Hate Us?”
On Tuesday, in the wake of a newly-released Daily Kos/ Research 2000 poll that revealed how hostile to the LGBTQ community Republicans are, I asked, “Gays: Do Republicans Really Hate Us?”
And you responded, “yes!”
You can see the most current results below, but as of this writing, with 184 votes,
47% of you said, “yes,” and another 41% chose, “Hate is too strong a word, but essentially, yes.”
I’d call that a pretty solid response.
7% said, “no,” and 5% said, “I’d rather not think of it in those terms.”
Sadly, I think we have to think of it in those terms. And, perhaps, try to change perceptions on the right.
