Free AK-47 Rifle Just For Getting Credit Card Transactions Processed

A Sarasota, Florida family-owned credit card pressing company is offering a free AK-47 assault rifle to merchants who sign up for their services. Gino Kauzlarich, President of MerchantService.com, Inc., writes,

Regarding God, America is overwhelmingly a Christian nation. And as police and reporters routinely say the first words out of a shooting victims mouth is “oh God no, or God save me, or why God me?” And in the Ten Commandments it says thou shall not steal, and thou shall not kill. Because it takes great courage and faith that you’ll succeed in standing your ground in the face of a criminal robbing & attacking you, and possibly killing you if you don’t defend yourself first, we included God first in our message line.

Those are the reasons why we have God, Guns and Guts in our banner message. Any and all faiths, agnostics or atheists, liberals or conservatives are all welcome to join our program and reap the benefits In light of the long history of our legal system and faith based beliefs that all life is sacred, we expect our campaign to generate a healthy dialog and certainly be filled with controversy because it goes against the convention wisdom that our police practices of “mop up the crime scene” and “catch and release” penal system serves us well, and is uniquely “fair” to Americans.

The reason we’ve launched this NoMerchantVictims.com program now is that I believe our benevolent democratic society has met a tipping point. A point where our society has instilled the “right” to a small (2 to 6%) portion of our population to commit repeated often time violent and fatal crimes. It’s called our “catch and release” criminal justice system. We even provide the criminals a center of higher education, prisons, where they can study to master their trades.

The Huffington Post adds,

Recently, signing bonuses for credit cards have been on the rise, with Chase bank offering $300 cash back if the customer’s total spending tops $500 within the first three months. More benign offers range from Barclaycard’s Williams-Sonoma rewards card to deals on flights.

MerchantService.com isn’t the first business to use free guns as an incentive. Earlier this year, a Radio Shack in Hamilton, Montana was offering a gun to anyone who purchased Dish Network.

MerchantService.com itself takes the time to emphasize that its program doesn’t promote illegal activity.

“Keep in mind we are not simply handing out AK-47 assault rifles to anyone who opens an account with us,” the company’s website says. “You will receive a voucher…towards the purchase of a firearm at any reputable gun shop where you must go through the proper background checks and waiting period that the law requires.”

Disgusting.

And for the record, to all you Tea Party Patriots, the AK-47 was created by the Soviet Union.
