France Now Offers Same-Sex Marriage — Bill Passes By Wide Margin — Final Vote 331-225

The French National Assembly has just voted on same-sex marriage and the legislation passed by a wide margin — 331-225 — making France now the 14th country to offer marriage to same-sex couples.

The anti-gay marriage side took to the street in violent protests for months.

Weddings may begin as early as June.
