Fox News Head Roger Ailes: Obama ‘Too Busy Getting Blacks To Hate Whites’

The creator and head of Rupert Murdoch‘s Fox News, Roger Ailes, says that President Obama “likes to divide people into groups” and is “too busy getting the middle class to hate rich people, blacks to hate whites. He is busy trying to get everybody to hate each other.”

The 72-year old former media consultant for Nixon, Reagan, Bush I, and Giuliani, told Eliza Gray at The New Republic in an interview titled, “Roger Ailes’ Border War,” that Americans “need to get along.”

“Gray herself noted that it’s an ‘unexpected plea’ from a man not known for shying away from provocation — yet it ‘has become an imperative for the conservative movement,'” Mediaite reports:

And thus the story delves into the Republican Party’s standing with Latino voters and Fox News’ place in that issue.

“Hispanics who get on government programs are doing only a little better than they were in the old country,” Ailes remarked. “Fox News Latino will show people how opportunities exist, that whenever we are overregulated, or there is too much government, we lose freedom. We lose power. That is, historically, one hundred percent true.”

Ailes could easily be said to be the number one person responsible for the polarization of American over the past decade, and could easily be said to be the number on person responsible for the all misinformation Fox news viewers have, given they are actually less-informed than the average American who does not get their news from cable TV.
