Fox Homophobe Attacks ‘Elitist’ (Not Part Of ‘Real America’) Manhattan Borough President Over ‘Mosque’
Laura Ingraham, Laura Ingraham, Laura Ingraham. What are we going to do with you?
As I wrote yesterday,
“There’s ascerbic, and then there’s Laura Ingraham. There’s nasty, and then there’s Laura Ingraham. There’s hypocritical, and then there’s Laura Ingraham. Ascerbic, nasty, hypocritical, times ten.”
Make that times twenty.
Listen to Ingraham, no better than a school-yard bully, sling what she imagines to be mud, at Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, a highly respected long-term New York City politician. Listen to Ingraham, raised in tony upstate Connecticut, and a graduate of ivy league Dartmouth College, claim Stringer is an “elitist.” And then close with, “That’s the problem with Manhattan.”
Because Ingraham is spewing GOP and Palin talking points that Manhattan is not part of the “real America.”
Oh, Manhattan, one of the top tourist destinations for Americans, is OK to visit, but don’t drink the water. Manhattan, financial capital of the world, home of American icons like the Statue of Liberty, and, I might add, Fox News, is fine to look at, but touch it and you’ll get dirty, right, Laura?
Of course, Stringer brings up Ingraham’s flip-flop on the Park 51 project, the so-called “Ground Zero Mosque.” Watch her wriggle.
