Bryan Fischer yesterday suggested all gays are pedophiles and must not be allowed to adopt children, raise them, or even be alone in the same room with them — even ones who are their own, biologically. Fischer, the public face of the certified anti-gay hate group, American Family Association, on his radio program “was discussing the study produced by professor Mark Regnerus purporting to show that children of same-sex parents fare worse than children of heterosexual parents and the news that the University of Texas would be conducting an investigation into his study, seeing the latter as proof that ‘the homosexual lobby is vicious, they are venomous, [and] they are filled with hatred’,” Right Wing Watch reported.

In the wake of what we’ve just seen at Penn State, I mean this ought to be just enough to say, look we are not going to put children in same-sex households. We’re not going to adopt them into same-sex households, we’re not going to give custody, if somebody goes into the homosexual lifestyle after siring children, bringing children into the world, with an opposite sex partner, they are not going to get custody of these children. If they have business with those kids they are going to be supervised visits. We cannot trust the sexual integrity and innocent and purity of young children to those that have same-sex preferences. The risk is far far too high.
Of course, Fischer is not only absolutely wrong, he is dangerously wrong. Studies prove that gays are no more likely to molest children that are straight people. Of course, he willfully meshes heterosexual pedophiles, like Sandusky, with homosexuals, because he just cannot bother with facts.
There are hundreds of thousands of same-sex-couples, and LGBT parents, raising hundreds of thousands of children, who, studies prove, turn out t least as well as their opposite-sex parented peers.
