Don Lemon And Wanda Sykes Both Say: I Used To Try To Pray The Gay Away

At the NAACP’s first-ever LGBT town hall meeting, CNN Anchor Don Lemon told the crowd, “I used to try to pray the gay away.” Lemon moderated the panel last week, and invited Wanda Sykes to discuss religion and homosexuality. Sykes, who says she too try to pray the gay way, asks, “What’s this crap about hate the sin but love the sinner?… You can’t have it both ways.”
