Does Fox News Not Know Where Any Of The States In America Really Are?
Fox News, the paradigm of false news, the purveyor of lies and twisted logic, once again has exhibited an embarrassing lack of knowledge that most fifth graders already possess. Fox News, apparently, has no idea where any of the states in America really are.
Utah is Nevada and Vermont is New Hampshire, according to a Fox News on-air graphic yesterday.
Adam Shah at Media Matters writes,
In the last two weeks, we’ve pointed out that Fox News’ graphics department stunningly failed to accurately portray the fact that the unemployment rate dropped from 9 percent to 8.6 percent in November.
But Fox’s graphics woes apparently aren’t limited to misrepresenting the unemployment rate. Tonight, the network’s premiere “straight news” political program, Special Report with Bret Baier, did a segment on possible paths to victory for President Obama’s re-election campaign. And in one graphic, Fox mislabeled Utah as Nevada.
Should we be surprised, since studies show that Fox News actually enhances stupidity?
Add this stupid error to more malevolent Fox News misstatements, like, Barack Obama is dead. Or, pepper spray is “a food product, essentially.”
You remember our stories this May, when we showed Fox News anchors saying things like, “Obama Bin Laden Dead”, and worse, “President Obama Is In Fact Dead”.
Of course, there are other Fox News lies, like Bill O’Reilly’s recent claim that he was attacked by a man who simply asked him if he had attended Gingrich fundraiser. O’Reilly stabbed at him with his umbrella. Or, how about, there were no terrorist attacks under Bush’s watch?
And earlier this month, a local Fox news anchor outed a believed Massachusetts teacher who had done porn films. The report enraged the community.
Of course, Fox News Medical expert Dr. Keith Ablow has said transgender people are just like heroin addicts, after claiming that children could become transgender just by watching “Dancing With The Stars.”
Of course, we now know that Fox News commenters are worse than Neo-Nazis.
