Did NOM Steal Joe.My.God.’s Anti-Gay Marriage Rally Video? You Decide.

Did the National Organization for Marriage “borrow” blogger Joe.My.God.’s video of Sunday’s anti-gay marriage rally and repost it as their own — a distinct violation of copyright?

NOM, the National Organization for Marriage, has been known before to push the limits of copyright — not to mention basic human decency — as they generally do when they republish scanned copies of web content, like they did here, and here, and here, not to mention the problems they encountered last summer when they used, without permission, music from John Mellencamp and from Peter, Paul, and Mary — and were requested to cease and desist.

Here are the two videos, the first from Joe, the second from NOM.

You decide.
