Lt. Dan Choi, fresh out of jail after joining twelve other LGBT GetEQUAL activists in chaining themselves to the White House’s fence, tonight via Twitter delivered his strongest criticism of the man who was his boss, the Commander-In-Chief, Barack Obama. Choi tweeted, “Relative to promises denied and American demand for #LGBT equality, @BarackObama is the worst US president in history.”
(Update: Choi added, about an hour after that tweet, “@BarackObama. Promises. AID$ slashing. ENDA by-standing. DADT hiding. MARRIAGE flip-flopping. Silent bigotry. Worst POTUS in #LGBT history.”
Before that statement, Choi, perhaps the most visible gay former soldier, tweeted, “True racism is subjecting our first black president to a separate standard on issues of our equality.”

Choi recently was rebuked by several LGBT and Veterans organizations, and here, for his comments about Senator Harry Reid.
