Daily News Update
DOMA was the word of the day, with excellent, fact-based testimony delivered to the Senate Judiciary Committee today by luminaries like Evan Wolfson, and expert questioning by Senator Al Franken, who stole the day. The LGBT community owes a great debt to Senator Franken, who single-handedly (no doubt, thanks to the help of his staff as well,) busted apart Focus On The Family’s false testimony. It was a good day for equality, not a good day for bigotry and ignorance from the right!
