Cynthia Nixon On Joy Behar Talks Gay Rights And Bullying
Last night, on Joy Behar’s HLN show, actress and LGBT activist Cynthia Nixon discussed equality, gay rights, and bullying. Nixon says she joined Fight Back NY because “I will no longer sit idly by while our elected leaders deny me my basic civil right to get married in my home state.”
Nixon thrilled equality advocates everywhere earlier this month when she told NOM’s Brian Brown, “When women got the vote, they did not ‘redefine’ voting. When African Americans got the right to sit at a lunch counter alongside white people, they did not ‘redefine’ eating out.â€
