Coulter: Democratic Chair “Beast With Voice Like Hyena Getting Abortion”

Ann Coulter says that Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is a “hideous beast with a voice that sounds like a hyena getting an abortion.” The conservative columnist was addressing members of the Florida Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Friday. Coulter made headline on Thursday also when she published her weekly column, titled, “Cop Killer Is Media’s Latest Baby Seal,” a reference to Troy Davis, who was executed only hours later.

Coulter’s column also falsely stated, “There is more credible evidence that space aliens have walked among us than that an innocent person has been executed in this country in the past 60 years, much less the past five years.”

In the next breath after denigrating Wasserman Schultz, who recently announced she had had breast cancer earlier this year, Coulter said she wanted the feud started by Republican Rep. Alan West, the Chairwoman’s neighbor in the House, both serving the state of Florida, to be seen by America as the face of the Republican Party. Coulter called West a “war hero,” when, in fact, West resigned from the Army rather than face a court-martial.

West, known for speaking inflammatory lies, “retired” as a Lieutenant Colonel, after an investigation found West guilty of violation the Uniform Code of Military Justice and ordered him to pay $5,000 in fines for actions that could be described as torture of a prisoner.

Over the summer, Congressman West, who last month described himself as a “modern-​day Harriet Tubman,” was disinvited to a speaking engagement by a local Florida business group, after LGBT activists, responding to West’s repeated anti-gay rhetoric, suggested they would consider a boycott.

Coulter was referring to an event in July, when West said Rep. Wasserman Schultz was “the most vile, unprofessional , [sic] and despicable member of the US House of Representatives,” and called her, “a coward,” “characterless,” “not a Lady,” and told her to “shut the heck up,” via an email made public.
