Cost Of A Gun In NYC: $3 – If You Buy From An 8-Year Old At School

The father, 54, according to reports, is facing gun possession charges. No doubt the NRA will step in on his behalf, perhaps even pay for his legal costs. After all, everyone has a right to have a gun, and selling something you own is free-market capitalism at its best. Why should there be any restrictions at all for this transaction?

Cable news channel NY1 reports:

The New York City Police Department says Ignacio Galvan, 54, and his son are facing weapons possession charges.

The father is also being charged with “acting in a manner to injure a child.”

NY1 adds that the Queens school found out about the incident after the mother of the child who bought the gun discovered it and came back to the school to get answers. NY1 said a teacher told them the mother was hysterical and “kept asking how could this happen?”

No word yet on if the gun was loaded.
