Confirmed: Andrew Breitbart Dead at 43
Andrew Breitbart, the right wing agitator, media mogul, and Tea Party activist, is dead. He was 43. His main website, Big Journalism, at 5:58 this morning (8:58 ET?) posted a story titled, “In Memoriam: Andrew Breitbart (1969-2012).” The story (image, above,) reads:
With a terrible feeling of pain and loss we announce the passing of Andrew Breitbart.
Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.
We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.
Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.
The conclusion to his new book is printed as well.
ABC News political producer Katie Bosland tweeted:
LA Coroner’s Office has confirmed to @ABC that Andrew Breitbart passed away last night at UCLA Medical Center.
Fox News, Politico, and others have also confirmed his death.
