“Prop 8 The Musical” has taken the nation by storm, and has provoked thunderous laughter from the left and thunderous attacks from the right. Can’t anyone take a joke? Evidently not. The Christian Anti-Defamation Commission, the same people who created a series of seven short films entitled, “7 Reasons Why Barack Obama Is Not A Christian“, have decided to denounce “Prop 8 The Musical”, its star, Jack Black, Jews, and, of course, gays. Via The Christian News Wire:
“Jack Black should remember from his days at Hebrew School that homosexual acts aren’t funny and are roundly condemned in the Bible,” said Dr. Gary Cass, of the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission. “Appearing as a sarcastic, rotund Christ, Black distorts the Bible and condones shameful, homosexual acts. Associating Christ with perverse activity is an affront to all people of faith, especially Christians. Apparently Black and company find it hilarious to falsely accuse Christians while they intentionally distort the Bible. Black ought to apologize.”
Wow. In one sentence, “discrimination expert” Dr. Cass has condemned Golden Globe nominated actor Jack Black, Jews, and, of course, gays. This is the same Dr. Gary Cass who, in concert with the Rev. Ted Haggard, (yes, that Ted Haggard, who admitted soliciting prostitute Mike Jones for homosexual sex and methamphetamine) petitioned Ford Motor Company to stop funding homosexual activist groups.
